Draeger Oxygen tubes have a measuring range of oxygen volume between 5-23%. These 5%/c colorimetric detector tubes are a reliable way to measure O2 levels in your immediate area. Only one stroke of a Draeger Accuro hand pump or other Draeger colorimetric tube pump delivers results within 10% standard deviation.

Draeger tubes are industry standards featuring easy to read results quickly.

Please note: the Oxygen 5%/C tubes use a chemical reaction to achieve their results that creates very warm temperatures of the tubes themselves. These temperatures can reach approximately 100 degrees Celsius and therefore the tubes should not be used in potentially combustible atmospheres. If there is any doubt about the suitability of your area for this type of testing, it is recommended a combustible gas monitor be used first before testing for O2 in this manner.

Draeger pioneered the colorimetric detector tube and remains the industry standard for reliability and range of atmosphere testing. Draeger tubes can be found in a wide range of work places. Their tubes are able to detect more than 500 different gases.

These tubes are one time use and then you throw them away. The Draeger tubes are a ‘grab sample’ type of device. That is, they offer a snapshot measurement of the specific gas the tube is designed to measure, in this case oxygen. The normal shelf life on a box of 10 tubes is 2 years.
